Counselling provides you with an opportunity to explore problems or difficulties with someone who will not judge you nor offer advice.
Counselling is a “talking therapy”. We will sit and talk together and I will listen carefully to you and encourage you to be open and honest. It is often easier to talk about difficulties that may seem overwhelming with someone you do not know.
People come to counselling for a variety of reasons including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Relationship problems
- Anger management
- Bereavement
You will decide what you wish to work on in our sessions and how many sessions you wish to have. Problems can seem overwhelming at times and counselling can help you explore those issues within a supportive relationship. I aim to work in a non-judgemental and open way to help you move forward positively in life.
