I started doing Yoga about 25 years ago on the recommendation of one of my friends who suggested that it was very good exercise which at the same time relieved stress. As the years went by, while continuing to enjoy my lessons, I became more and more interested in the roots of the discipline. However, I was working full time and felt that I would be unable to give a teaching course the time and energy that it required. Once I retired this was no longer a problem and I signed up for a 2 year course with the Anahata School of Yoga .
